QuickArt® Royalties

To purchase a license for distributing QuickArt...
To distribute (sell, share or give away) QuickArt images "as is" and/or QuickArt that you digitize for embroidery designs or sewing applications, you must pay a royalty fee and purchase a distribution license. See rates and steps below. Rates effective April 1, 2002. Send questions to QuickArt-Distribution-Royalties

Royalty fee -- rates per QuickArt image:
10 - 49 copies = 25¢ each
50 - 99 copies = 15¢ each
100 - 199 copies = 14¢ each
200 - 299 copies = 13¢ each
300 - 399 copies = 12¢ each
400 - 499 copies = 11¢ each
500 or more copies = 10¢ each

Example A: 70 copies each of 20 different images (70 x 20 x 15¢) = $210
Example B: 120 copies each of 15 different images (120 x 15 x 14¢) = $252
Example C: 200 copies each of 12 different images (200 x 12 x 13¢) = $312
Example D: 300 copies each of 10 different images (300 x 10 x 12¢) = $360

Minimum royalty fee: $200 per license

FIRST - You email this information to us at QuickArt-Distribution-Royalties:
1) A complete list of the QuickArt image file names you wish to license for distribution. Include the QuickArt package or CD title where each images is located.
2) The number of copies of each image you wish to license for distribution.
3) A contact name, title and company (optional), address (street/city/state/zip), phone number, and e-mail address.
4) If available, your Website address and description.
SECOND - We e-mail in PDF format a non-exclusive contract outlining the license terms and details (image names, copies per image, fee, copyright statement, etc.) for you to review, print and sign two copies.
THIRD - You send to Wheeler Arts, Contract Department, 66 Lake Park, Champaign, IL 61822-7132 USA:
1) Two copies of the signed contract.
2) Payment in full (check, VISA or Mastercard). There is a $200 minimum royalty fee per license. Illinois residents must include 6.5% State Sales Tax or furnish Reseller's tax-exempt number.
3) One complete copy of the final product as it will be distributed. Product documentation must include copyright statement "QuickArt® images © by Wheeler Arts. All rights reserved. www.quickart.com"
FOURTH - We return to you one copy of the signed contract. A reference number will be assigned and included on such contract copy for license identification.

NOTES
- By adding color or altering QuickArt images, they still remain the property of Wheeler Arts and may not be distributed without a valid license.
- Currently, distribution licenses are only available to USA and Canada residents.
- License renewal options available if you wish to later increase the number of images and/or copies beyond the original contract.
- To help attract visitors to your distribution site of embroidery designs, we will include a FREE link and/or listing on our Showcase page.

To purchase a multi-user license for QuickArt...
FIRST - Go to the printable Order Form and:
1) Print a copy and fill in the information (item#, title, format and price) for the first user.
2) Fill in the "Multi-User License" area with number of additional users. Add 25% of software price for each. For your convenience, costs are calculated below.

3) Add tax (if in Illinois) and S&H. Send with payment to Wheeler Arts. Send questions to QuickArt-Multi-User-License.
SECOND - We send the product to you with assigned multi-user registration numbers.

To purchase a license for installing QuickArt on a network server...
FIRST - Go to the printable Order Form and:
1) Print a copy and fill in the information (item#, title, format and price) for the first user.
2) Fill in the "Multi-User License" area with number of additional user or computers with access to QuickArt on the network. Add 25% of software price for each. For your convenience, costs are calculated below.
